Our Democracy is in crisis, and we are the only that can save it. We need to fight back against those who spread lies and undermine our democracy.

* Reinforcing our Right to Vote, Reinforcing rights guaranteed to us by the Constitution. Reinforcing a Women’s Right to Choose.
1. Jim Crow 2.0,
581 anti-voter bills have been introduced in 49 states, a total of 52 passed in 29 States, and 127 bills are still alive as we head into 2022. Whatever our race, background, income, or zip code, in America, we value the freedom to have a say in decisions that impact us and our families, especially our children. Voting is our constitutional given right and we need to fight and protect it.
2. Forced Pregnancy for Women,
3. COVID response does not follow the science,
4. Gerrymandering
I: Infrastructure- poor infrastructure is the greatest wealth destroyer.
It impacts all of us and we all witnessed that from our experience with Harvey. and from our experience with our electrical grid last February. We need an Infrastructure to help Rural and Urban Development, by having road systems, bridges, and utility services that meet the needs of our community of today and tomorrow. We need to catch up with our population growth.
- We live in one of the wealthiest County in The State and yet access to Broadband Internet is still a luxury,
- So many families still have to drive miles away just to get access to groceries and stores that sell healthy food,
- Our Electrical Grid is not stable as we all witnessed in February.
S: Systems and Policies
Covid changed everything… but Covid will not be the last virus… Harvey will not be the last storm... the Cold Freeze will not be the last. We know that unforeseen things can happen!!! But we can not let our system collapse continuously every time we face an emergency or calamity. We have to be prepared to face it. We need to be better, innovative, and proactive. So we cannot continue to do the same thing over and over, expecting a different result.
- We need Systems and policies that help enhance our small businesses; through economic opportunities and entrepreneurship by utilizing local resources and manpower
- We need systems and policies that would protect us from unexpected crises and calamities like easy access and faster process to funding and financial support every time a crisis happens.
E: Education:
We need to invest more in our Public Education, Schools, and Teachers. We must stop spending 20K per inmate and less than 10K per student on public education. I was raised by A family of Educators, and for me, still is mind-boggling that We don't pay our teachers enough, that they have to work 2 or 3 jobs just to make ends meet. They can not even retire with dignity because their retirement can not cope with inflation and price hike.
- We need to expand funding for public education, taking into account our current population and projected population growth;
